between the roll and web to provide better web control. This unique roll finish improves web tracking and reduces web drift, slippage and web marking, especially with lighter webs and faster line speeds.
Standard Microgrooves are machined to exactly .008 inch deep, 24 grooves per inch. Ultra-fine patterns can contain up to 100 grooves per inch. Microgrooves are available on all Webex rollers including aluminum, steel and stainless steel idlers as presented in the Webex Idler Master Catalog.
