Fairfield, New Jersey - July 13, 2009 - Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document imaging companies, today announced the expansion of its award winning TASKalfa line of multifunctional products with the introduction of the TASKalfa 220 (22 pages per minute) and TASKalfa 180 (18 ppm) black and white MFPs, ideally suited for small businesses and individual users.

The TASKalfa 220/180 offers a number of standard features designed to improve the productivity of any office environment. The TASKalfa 220/180 includes one 300 sheet paper drawer, and a 100 sheet multi-purpose tray (MPT). The paper drawers support paper weights ranging from 17lb Bond to 28lb Bond and accommodate a variety of paper sizes from Statement to Ledger. The MPT supports paper weights up to 90lb Bond.

The TASKalfa 220/180 features an optional 50-sheet document processor for fast processing of documents to meet any customer's requirements as well as paper saving duplex. Both models offer optional print, which utilizes a host-based Graphical Device Interface (GDI) for Windows®, including a FlexRISC 150MHz processor and standard memory of 32MB.
