Metso Automation Launches kajaaniROTARY(TM) Consistency Transmitter for the Pulp and Paper Industry
NORCROSS, Ga.-Sept. 15, 2006-Metso Automation introduces kajaaniROTARY(TM), a force balance principle-based rotating consistency transmitter featuring durability, accuracy, ease of operation, as well as leading-edge self-diagnostics, providing users a better view of consistency measurement in Pulp and Paper applications.
The kajaaniROTARY transmitter measures the shear force induced torque generated by the pulp fiber network. It consists of an electric motor driven shaft pair, comprised of two concentrically aligned, flexible connected shafts allowing the inner, measuring shaft to have a phase shift in respect to the outer, drive shaft.
