7340 Metrology Bath Provides Stability of ±0.005°C at -40°C

Hart Scientific's new Model 7340 Compact Bath covers temperatures from -40°C to 150°C (-40°F to 302°F). This range includes calibration temperatures that are critical for many thermometers used in industrial and life-science applications, including RTDs, thermistors, glass thermometers, and thermocouples.

Maintaining temperature stability to ±0.005°C, the 7340 can be used as a calibration standard for calibrating reference-grade thermometers, including thermometers used as secondary laboratory standards. Likewise, the 7340 maintains temperature uniformity of ±0.005°C to accommodate simultaneous calibrations of multiple sensors.

A footprint of one foot by two feet and noise-reduction features in its design make the 7340 lab friendly.

The 7340 includes an RS-232 interface and Hart's Interface-it software for automating control of the bath through a PC. A quick drain spout is included so fluids covering different temperature ranges can be easily changed if necessary. An optional floor cart is available for added mobility as is Hart's Calibrate-it software for complete automation of high-volume thermometer calibrations.
