METCASE's Universal ABS Case Feet Kits Are Now Offered In Different Versions and Colours
Due to customer demand, METCASE has extended its range of universal ABS case feet for electronic enclosures.
These ABS case feet have always been one of the company's most popular enclosure accessories. Many customers prefer to specify standard feet rather than go to the expense of molding their own, especially when their equipment production batches are in 100s rather than 1000s.
The foot design is totally universal, so electronics engineers can specify them not just for METCASE housings but also to retrofit to other manufacturers' cases, or their own bespoke housings.
The extended range of case feet kits is now available with or without tilt legs, and in three standard colors: Light Gray (RAL 7035), Off-white (RAL 9002) and Black (RAL 9005). Custom colors are also available on demand.
Each kit comprises four ABS feet, four non-slip inserts, four self-tapping assembly screws and – if legs are specified – two tilt legs. Prices start at $10 per kit.
Fitting each foot simply requires the drilling of three holes in the enclosure – two for the foot's location pillars and another for the assembly screw.
A number of METCASE enclosure ranges are supplied with the holes pre-punched, including UNIMET and UNIMET-PLUS desktop enclosures and UNIMET and VERSAMET 19" rack mount cases. Other ranges can also be supplied with the holes pre-punched as an option.
METCASE's enclosure accessories also include 19" front panel handle kits, bail arms, front panels and PCB mounting pillars.
METCASE offers a wide range of custom options for its rack cases and other electronic enclosures including special sizes; internal mounting plates and brackets; CNC milling, drilling and punching; painting and anodizing plus silk-screen or tampo printing of legends and logos. Full bespoke cases can also be specified.
