Olympus GX Series: New Inverted Metallurgical Microscope Combines Highly Advanced Imaging System With Versatile Modular Design



Melville, NY - Olympus America Inc., Scientific Equipment Group, is please to announce the introduction of Olympus' new line of inverted metallurgical GX series microscopes. The GX series is our first inverted metallurgical microscope to introduce UIS optics. It produces the highest level of image quality and features a modular system, such as a separate photo unit, which enables the user to construct an optimum system for their needs.

The product line consists of two models: the GX71 & GX5 1. The GX71 is for research use and features a super-wide field, zooming, erect image and a mirror cube turret for brightfield, darkfield, Nomarski (DIC), polarized light, and fluorescence observation. The GX51, which is for inspection and research use, has improved basic functions pertaining to brightfield and darkfield observation.
