Athena Controls, Inc., a leading manufacturer of temperature and process controllers, has announced availability of their Noble Thermocouples for a diverse range of industrial temperature measurement applications.

Nobel Type R, S and B assemblies can be used where temperatures exceed the upper limits of base metal thermocouples (to 3100ºF/1760ºC), or for more precise measurements at lower temperatures where the additional cost is justified. Due to their calibration stability, they can also be used as reference standards to calibrate working standards.

The assemblies are available with ceramic primary protection tubes, or combinations of ceramic primary protection tubes with ceramic, metal/ceramic or metal secondary tubes. All assemblies are pretested, ready to install, and ordering of complete assemblies, replacement elements, or replacement tubes is easy with simplified part numbers.
