Eye Lighting International of North America, Inc. Announces the Addition of EYE Cera Arc® 250W Ceramic Metal Halide that Provides Both 90 CRI and 95 Lumens per Watt with 80-85 Percent Maintained Lumens at the End of the Lamp
CLEVELAND (May, 2005)- In response to the growing demand for high CRI and high efficacy lamps, EYE Lighting introduces its new EYE Cera Arc® 250W Ceramic Metal Halide lamp.
EYE Cera Arc® provides both high CRI (90), and high lumen output throughout lamp life. With a crisp 4000K color temperature and 90 CRI, illuminated objects' colors are rendered accurately and attractively. EYE Cera Arc® offers 95 Lumens per Watt with excellent Maintained Lumens (80-85 percent) at the end of lamp life. Both BUD (Base Up or Base Down) burning position and HOR (Horizontal) burning position are available.
The new EYE Cera Arc® 250W lamps operate on standard ballasts for S50 High Pressure Sodium lamps. The compact T15 bulb shape allows the lamp to be used with a wide range of fixtures. The lamps are suitable for new installations and as a retrofit from High Pressure Sodium. EYE Cera Arc® 250W is a direct replacement for 250W HPS lamps, and transforms yellow light (20 CRI) into 4000K white light (90 CRI).
Minimal color shift during lamp life and consistent lamp-to-lamp color are significant features of the innovative EYE Ceramic Metal Halide technology.
