CLEVELAND (June, 2005) In response to the growing demand for enviornmentally-friendly lamp products, EYE Lighting introduces its new UV-Cut Metal Halide lamp family. The lamps are available in 400W, 1000W and 1500W sizes.
INNOVATIVE UV-Block coating from Iwasaki Electric allows the UV-Cut Metal Halide lamps to block 90 percent of the UV output. CRI, Color Temperature and Lumen Output of the lamps remain unchanged from their standard equivalents. The UV-Cut lamps maintain EYE Lighting's Premium Metal Halide features - World Class Quality, High Initial and Maintained Lumens and Consistent Lamp to Lamp color...now with the added feature of low UV.
SIGNIFICANT FEATURES of UV-Cut Metal Halide are the prevention of material fading, discoloration and deterioration. It also reduces damage (yellowing) of the polycarbonate fixture lens, maximizing light oputput and increasing fixture life. Another feature is that insect attraction is reduced by 50 percent compared to standard Metal Halide.
Universal Burning and Position Oriented High Output versions are currently available, utilizing applications in a wide range of fixtures: floodlights, post top, high bay and indirect lighting types, etc.
