Metal Bellows Couplings feature conical flanges.

Press Release Summary:

Applied primarily to dynamic, controlled drives, Series AK metal bellows couplings are used where 2 rotating, opposite shafts must be coupled with force-locking and without backlash. Angular, lateral, and axial offset can be compensated, and resulting reaction forces can be neglected. Available in torque range of 30-5,000 Nm and diameters from 12-85 mm, products exhibit torsional stiffness and can be modified to desired specifications.

Rino Metal Bellows with Conical Flanges

Metal bellows couplings proven to be versatile and to satisfy a variety of applications are available now from mechanical drive components specialist, Rino Industries Ltd of Chesterfield.

They are applied primarily to highly dynamic, controlled drives for example in CNC machines, automation devices and packaging, textile, servo, material handling and general drive technology machines. They are used where two rotating, opposite shafts must be coupled with force-locking and without backlash.

The advantages of these metal bellows couplings are their high torsional stiffness and their ability, thanks to a low moment of inertia, to transmit high rpm with good angular accuracy and without backlash.

Angular, lateral and axial offset can be compensated, the resulting reaction forces can be neglected. The force locking construction of the flanges allows easy assembly and handling.

Series AK metal bellows couplings are available in a torque range of 30 to 5000Nm and a diameter range of 12-85mm. Couplings can also be modified to customer's specifications.
