Mobile 365 Launches Upgrades for Global MMS Interoperability

Builds upon Experience Connecting the North American Market

CANNES, France, Feb. 14 -- Mobile 365, the global leader of mobile messaging services, today announced upgrades to its inter-operator MMS service. To address the growing demand for global MMS (Multimedia Messaging Services) delivery, enhancements include improved inter-operator transcoding capabilities, multi-lingual, legacy-style delivery support, and enhanced international routing capabilities. Mobile 365 has also enhanced its inter- operator MMS reporting capabilities to better show message transit and media details, in addition to features that enable operators to monitor traffic volume, view individual message statistics, and provide detailed reports.

Enhanced inter-operator MMS transcoding enables Mobile 365 to tailor messages to the requirements of operator networks, resulting in improved quality of service for subscribers. Mobile video transcoding will be available in the near future.

MMS messages transfer rich media elements from one mobile device to another-video, images, sounds, and text-in any combination. Mobile 365's MMS interoperability solution passes all types of MMS content across operators, providing transcoding to achieve the highest possible service quality.

"Interoperability is one of Mobile 365's core businesses, and we do it better than anyone else in the world," said Jorgen Nordin, Vice President of Product Management for Mobile 365. "We have a proven MMS interop service in production in the United States right now, providing us with a huge advantage to capitalize on this emerging global market segment."

Mobile 365 has already launched two Tier I operators in the United States, with additional Tier I and Tier II operators scheduled for launch later this quarter. The company has extensive trials underway with operators in North America and Latin America. Traffic across the Mobile 365 MMS interoperability platform has been growing virally at a double digit percentage rate each month with little to no publicity from the participating operators.
