Mercer Industries now offers a full line of Zirconia products including Cut-Off and Grinding Wheels.
RONKONOMA, N.Y. (PRWEB) APRIL 10, 2019 - Mercer Industries now offers a full line of Zirconia products including Cut-Off and Grinding Wheels. New to the ZSpeed® line-up are two 7” Type 27 Cut-Off Wheels and a 14” Type 1 Chop Saw Wheel. This is in addition to a full line of .045 Type 1 and Type 27 Cut-Off Wheels, and ¼” and 1/8” grinding wheels rounds out the family of products
All ZSPEED Zirconia wheels are manufactured from an advanced zirconia blend that lasts 4X longer than an aluminum oxide wheel. A longer life means fewer wheel changes and reduced abrasive costs. They offer a faster cut rate for quicker job completion and are designed to cut all ferrous metals, including stainless steel.
Zirconia grain is more durable than aluminum oxide and is best for medium to heavy-material removal. Zirconia stays cool, doesn’t glaze and is contaminant free. These wheels will not leave residue or contaminants on the metal that can possibly develop rust spots or other surface imperfections on stainless steel, improving the overall appearance of the final product. The self-sharpening feature of zirconia allows for more productivity.
