New Displacements Available for Eaton Medium-Duty Piston Pumps

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. ... Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced it has expanded two of its variable displacement piston pump series with additional displacements.

Now available for the following medium-duty, manual controlled pumps are:

--Series 70160-A new 21,6-cm³/r (1.32-in³/r) pump has been added to the series that also includes 20,3-cm³/r (1.24-in³/r) and 23,6-cm³/r (1.44-in³/r) pumps.

--Series 70360-A new 35,1-cm³/r (2.10-in³/r) pump has been added to the series that also includes 40,6-cm³/r (2.48-in³/r) and 49,2-cm³/r (3.00-in³/r) pumps.

With these product line expansions, series 70160 and series 70360 pumps suit a wider range of flow requirements on construction, forestry, harvester, industrial, paving, and turf care equipment.

Both robust pump models offer a maximum rated speed of 3,600 revolutions per minute (RPM) and maximum pressure capability of 345 Bar (5000 psi). Important Eaton design features include a square input shaft to facilitate linkage retention, tapered trunnion bearings that reduce noise and vibration, and lightweight, compact housings.

Eaton's series 70160 is equipped with a Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) "A" mounting flange and series 70360 has an SAE "B" mounting flange.
