Medical Printing Tool assists catheter pad alignment.

Press Release Summary:

Catheter Pad Gauge helps catheter printers calibrate print positions of catheter markings from one end of long pad to opposite end. It lets printers with cup slide machine fitted with long pad measure front-to-back distance of image at multiple locations along pad. Print alignment tool minimizes chance for error, promoting consistent catheter printing quality with minimal losses during setup and production.

Tool Invented to Assist Catheter Pad Alignment

EAST DORSET, Vt. - After leading the field in automated catheter printing technology, Pad Print Machinery of Vermont continues to blaze new trails, now announcing its latest invention: the Catheter Pad Gauge print alignment tool (patent pending).

Engineers at PPMoV invented the Catheter Pad Gauge in response to a common challenge among catheter printers: How can the print positions of catheter markings be calibrated from one end of a long pad to another?

This precision-designed tool allows catheter printers - or anyone with a cup slide machine fitted with a long pad - to measure the front-to-back distance of an image at multiple locations along the pad.

According to Julian Joffe, President of Pad Print Machinery of Vermont, print room workers previously used a caliper to check the image alignment on long pads. "There is less room for error with our new Catheter Pad Gauge - allowing for consistent high quality catheter printing with minimal losses during setup and production."

Pad Print Machinery of Vermont's 360-degree catheter printers are unique in the medical equipment manufacturing industry - featuring single-hit printing of catheter tubing, for marking that goes all the way around the tube.
