Windsor, Connecticut - April 26, 2004.... Scapa Medical has introduced the MG Series of high molecular weight rubber based medical adhesives for direct skin applications such as bandages, monitoring sensors, and personal care items.

MG Series adhesives are composed of a gelatinous thermoplastic material that behaves like a solid adhesive but conforms like a liquid. These adhesives resemble hydrogels but are not water sensitive. They provide adhesion properties similar to those of hydrogels but will not dry out, eliminating packaging and storage problems.
