Omni-Q Helps Cable Operator Provision High-Quality Digital Telephony Services

service monitoring solutions provider, today announced that Mediacom Communications Corporation has deployed its distributed voice service quality monitoring system, Omni-Q. The RADCOM system supports multiple-system operator (MSO) provisioning of high-quality digital telephony services.

The integrated solution monitors, records and analyzes MOS (Mean Opinion Score), a critical industry-wide indicator of voice quality on live calls. It provides cable operators like Mediacom with a cost-effective method of passively monitoring their network and proactively identifying potential service affecting issues. Providing network-wide visibility and drill-down capability, Omni-Q offers Mediacom both historical voice quality monitoring and subscriber level troubleshooting.
