Media Sciences Enters Dell Color Supplies Market with New Product Launch

Launch Represents Company's Largest Installed Base Opportunity to Date

OAKLAND, N.J., Nov. 9 -- Media Sciences International, Inc. (AMEX:GFX), the leading independent manufacturer of color toner cartridges and solid ink sticks for color business printers, today announced that it will enter the Dell color laser supplies market with its 100% newly manufactured Clearcase® color toner cartridges for use in Dell® 3000cn, 3100cn and 3010cn and Epson AcuLaser® CX11N, CX11NF, and C1100 color business printers.

The product launch, which includes plans for a December shipment, is part of a series of new product introductions planned for fiscal year 2007 and represents the largest target installed base opportunity in Media Sciences' history. The Media Sciences products will provide end users with a compelling savings opportunity of up to 50 percent.

This addition to the Company's product line increases Media Sciences' available market to approximately 26%, a significant increase from approximately 22% in September when the Company announced its 100% new-build products for use in the Oki® C3100 and C3200 business color printers.

Media Sciences' President and CEO Michael W. Levin remarked, "Media Sciences' entry into the Dell color laser supplies market is a milestone event for our Company. The market opportunity for this product launch is the largest for any Media Sciences product launch to date. Dell is a new but very strong player in the color laser printer market, and has quickly achieved status as a top choice for affordable color laser printers. Now with Media Sciences' high- quality, low-cost color supplies for use in Dell printers, color laser printing itself has become even more affordable."

Levin continued, "The opportunity presented by the launch of products for use in the Dell and Epson models extends beyond just market size. Because Dell sells its printers and supplies directly to end users over the phone and internet rather than through traditional channels, our products provide distributors and dealers with their first opportunity to participate in the market for Dell color laser printer supplies. This is a great product, delivered through a motivated channel, providing exceptional quality and savings to the end user."

Dell entered the color laser printer market approximately 18 months ago and, according to IDC industry analyst Angele Boyd, has quickly risen to become the second largest U.S. color laser printer vendor today in terms of unit shipment (Source: IDC's Worldwide Quarterly Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker Q2, 2006).
