Company Steps Into Growing Samsung Market, Launches Color Supplies for Use in Additional Dell(R), Xerox(R), and Ricoh(R) Printer Models

OAKLAND, N.J., May 30 -- Media Sciences International, Inc. [Nasdaq: MSII], the leading independent manufacturer of color toner cartridges and solid ink sticks for use in business color printers, today announced the launch of 100% new-build Clearcase(R) color toner cartridges for use in Samsung CLP-500, CLP-550, and CLP-510; Xerox(R) Phaser(R) 6360 and 6100; Dell(R) 5110cn; and Ricoh(R) Aficio CL-2000, CL-3000, and CL-3500 business color printers.

As part of an aggressive series of new product introductions in Media Sciences' fiscal year 2007, this latest product launch includes expectations for shipment of supplies for all named models by late June. All models combined, the introduction represents the third largest installed base opportunity in the company's history.

The launch marks Media Sciences' entry into the Samsung color supplies market. According to Alyson Frasco, Director Worldwide Hardcopy Peripheral Trackers & Forecasts at IDC, "The worldwide color laser printer market grew 15% in 2006 and is expected to continue to grow at a double digit growth rate through 2011. Samsung has steadily grown its share of the worldwide color laser printer market since 2003."
