MedeAnalytics Releases Healthcare Analytics Maturity Framework

Tool provides a way to gauge an organization's prowess at extracting value from data

LAS VEGAS -- MedeAnalytics, a leading provider of healthcare performance management solutions, announced today the release of the Healthcare Analytics Maturity Framework, a tool that helps healthcare organizations objectively assess their level of maturity in adopting and using analytics.

The Healthcare Analytics Maturity Framework presents four levels or stages of overall analytics maturity as distinguished by six salient criteria.

"While various analytics adoption and sophistication models have been presented as applicable to healthcare, they have generally been based on studies of the experiences of organizations from multiple industries, usually including a quite limited number of healthcare organizations," explained Ken Perez, senior vice president of marketing and director of healthcare policy for MedeAnalytics. "In contrast, this framework is rooted in healthcare, reflecting the collective experiences of over 850 healthcare provider and payer organizations in the United States and the United Kingdom."
