Measurement System uses multiple sensor technologies.

Press Release Summary:

GageMaster consists of re-configurable, multi-channel system for measuring displacement, vibration, thickness, high-speed motion, and spindle error motions. It includes 2 built-in channels that use capacitive/inductive sensors and 2 analog inputs for any sensor with voltage output. Signals may be combined mathematically. Unit is also equipped with color TFT touchscreen interface, up to 6 µm RMS resolution, range of 100-1000 µm, and 6 preset configurations.

GageMaster Advanced Measurement System Uses Multiple Sensor Technologies

St. Paul, MN USA, April 16, 2003

The GageMaster is a complete, easily re-configurable multi-channel system for measuring displacement, vibration, thickness, high-speed motion, spindle error motions and more. It includes two built-in channels using capacitive and/or inductive sensors. Added to this are two analog inputs for any sensor that has a voltage output. These four signals can be combined mathematically and can include peak capture and TIR readings. Complex measurements can be achieved using differing sensor technologies without having to process voltages through an external computer program. Six preset configurations are easily selectable and three user defined configurations can be created and saved. The system includes a color TFT touchscreen display, small thermal printer and an attached accessory pouch that holds the printer, sensors, manual etc. Visit the GageMaster Advanced Measurement System website at gagemasterams.com for more information. The GageMaster has been used as a single unit solution for basic displacement measurement, two probe thickness measurement, running step height measurement and complex measurements like multi-sensor type film thickness measurement.
