ETS-Lindgren Has Announced the Latest Addition to Its Range of Measurement Antennas for Testing EMC Susceptibility over the Wide Range of 400 MHz to 6 GHz
The new antenna, model 3119, from ETS (EMC Test Systems) - Lindgren, boasts ultra broadband performance from 400 MHz up to 6 GHz without band breaks, making it ideal for automated susceptibility testing. It covers the major commercial wireless frequencies. In addition, the Model 3119 exhibits high gain and low VSWR across its operational frequency band, resulting in efficient amplifier usage and high field strengths. The antenna accepts up to 1500 watts of continuous power input, with up to 2500 watts of peak power.
"The electrical characteristics of this antenna were designed and modelled using electromagnetic simulation software," said Dr. Vince Rodriguez, ETS-Lindgren's Senior Principal Antenna Design Engineer. Optional mounting systems are available for the 3119 antenna including a tripod mount and a rear mount to permit on-axis rotation/polarization. The back plate has threaded mounting holes for custom mounts. All production units are individually calibrated at ETS-Lindgren's accredited lab and are shipped with antenna factors and a signed Certificate of Calibration Conformance.
