MaxLite's LED R30 Earns ENERGY STAR Qualification for Certified Subcomponent Database

West Caldwell, New Jersey – MaxLite® achieves placement of its nine-watt LED R30 with a GU24 base on the ENERGY STAR® Certified Subcomponent Database (CSD). This achievement helps other lighting fixture manufacturers reduce the time and costs needed to obtain ENERGY STAR qualification.

“MaxLite is proud to offers its first GU24 LED R30 on the ENERGY STAR CSD, which will enable other manufacturers to quickly obtain ENERGY STAR qualification of new fixtures at a reduced cost,” said Product Marketing Manager Alex Truong. “This LED lamp provides high-quality light and saves up to 85 percent in energy consumption.”

The lamp replaces a 65-watt incandescent BR30 typically used for general and accent lighting in recessed cans, downlight and track lighting fixtures.

The damp-rated lamp is suitable for use in homes, offices, retail stores, and other commercial applications. With a similar form factor to its less-efficient counterparts, the lamp’s housing conforms to ANSI standards for BR30 lamp envelopes.

The lamp is offered in a warm white 2700K correlated color temperature (CCT) and is dimmable down to 10 percent on most standard wall dimmers for user preference and application suitability.

A lightweight aluminum housing acts as a complete-lamp heat sink that conducts heat away from the LEDs and ensures optimum operation.

MaxLite adds this LED lamp to its growing lineup of LED BR lamps, including ENERGY STAR qualified models.
