MaxLite Enlightens Dark Service Station in Mexico with LED Outdoor Fixtures

The Challenges
The Servicio Express Aeropuerto Carret on Monterrey-Laredo Highway in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, needed new, energy-efficient lighting for the service station’s parking lot and canopy that covers the pumping stations.
The Solution
The 13 existing 250-watt metal halide flood lights were replaced with MaxLite’s 70-watt LED Flood Lights throughout the parking lot of the service station, brightening up previously dark areas. Ten 320-watt metal halide canopy fixtures were swapped out for 10 70-watt LED Fuel Pump Canopy Luminaires underneath the canopy to create a bright space that cars can easily navigate.
The Benefits
By switching from 13 inefficient 250-watt metal halide flood to MaxLite’s 70-watt LED lighting fixtures, the service station will reduce energy consumption by 146,307 kWh in energy and $23,094 in energy and maintenance.
