The Creform Starter Kit has been devised to specifically suit smaller manufacturers and assemblers/processors looking to instigate a clever materials handling system at an early stage from the ground up.
Distributed and managed nationally by Industrial Conveying (Aust) Pty Ltd, Creform Starter Kit is a simple and economical method to acquaint new users with the Creform Materials Handling System - a system used by Japanese companies to achieve cost-efficient and time intensive JIT (Just In time) production quotas.
Containing a variety of components in sufficient quantities to construct elementary structures such as carts, racks, flow racks and workstations, the Starter Kit can be individualised by the customer with components specific to a particular application.
Creform Starter Kit is an ideal, unintimidating first step to developing employee involvement in the implementation of the Creform System and the resulting continuous improvement.
Freedom of design allows an individual employee or teams to quickly and easily create handling devices that will optimise their job function.
This optimisation can be in several areas, including productivity, lean manufacturing and agility, ergonomics and economics, JIT inventory levels and lower costs, quality and reductions in floor space consumption.
Starter Kit contents may include (but are not limited to) a range of pipe styles including round and with flat "slide" surfaces, metal joints, conveyor rollers and mounts, casters, and tools such as a pipe cutter, deburring tool, and wrenches.
Industrial Conveying recommends the initial use of metal joints which provide reusability and flexibility. Plastic joints, however, may be specified in the kit.
