Mate to Exhibit Innovative Tooling Solutions at EuroBLECH '08

EasyView Dies(TM), SnapLock®, Sheetmarker® And Rollerball® Tooling Enhance Punching Processes For Greater Productivity See At EuroBLECH, '08 Hall 12 Booth D80

Anoka, Minnesota: Mate Precision Tooling will exhibit the latest tooling system technology at EuroBLECH '08, the world's number one sheet metal working technology exhibition, October 21- 25 in Hanover, Germany. These innovative tooling systems include:

New Mate EasyView(TM) Slug Free® Dies Provide Fast And Easy Tool Selection
Mate's new Thick Turret EasyView(TM) Slug Free® Die is the first tooling system designed with lean visual management technology. Using a colored O-ring designed to provide clear and instant identification, the new EasyView Slug Free design allows the user to assign visual identification to signify a specific feature or use of the tool, including material type, machine location, die clearance and more.

Mate Sheetmarker® Tooling Marks Parts With Assembly Codes And Numbers
Mate Sheetmarker® tools permanently mark sheet metal parts with assembly codes, serial numbers, names and etchings. The tool marks parts with data such as pallet number, machine number, sequential serial number, time and date, and is ideal for companies with quality programs requiring part traceability.

Mate Rollerball® Tooling Makes Stiffening Ribs In Light Sheet Metal
Mate Rollerball® tooling forms ribs, flanges and raised areas across the entire work surface of light gauge sheet metal. These offsets and embosses are not limited to the station range. The Rollerball provides the benefit of making forms not possible with single hit forming tools. The tooling design takes advantage of the extended programming capabilities of hydraulic punch presses where the ram can be held in a down position. More applications can be run on the punch press than ever before.

Mate SnapLock® Tooling Makes Self-Locking Tabs
Mate SnapLock® is a lance and form tool that produces self-locking, spring loaded tabs that snap securely into pre-punched holes. The tool does this by forming a small button in the top of the metal form that is semi-sheared to provide a positive mechanical lock when engaged with a second punched hole in the receiving tab. This tab and hole design locks the two components securely together without the need for welding or additional assembly operations.

Mate Ultra® Thick Turret Tooling, Marathon® Tooling For Murata Weidemann Presses And Slug Free® Dies Provide More Tooling Solutions For Quality Conscious Fabricators
Mate provides the most comprehensive range of tooling systems designed to accommodate any application in virtually all brand and model thick turret punch presses. These long-life tooling systems include: high performance Mate Ultra Tec®, convenient Ultra XT(TM), economy Original Style, and Ultraform® forming tooling.

Mate's new Marathon Plus(TM) fully guided tooling system for Murata Weidemann presses has all of the long-life, easy-to-use benefits of its original Marathon system, with the addition of click and turn external punch length adjustment for increased adjustment accuracy and minimum downtime.

Mate's Slug Free® Dies eliminate slug pulling which can cause damage to the piece part and the tooling. Mate Slug Free dies are available in virtually all of its tool system offerings for most brand and model punch presses.
