Mass Flowmeters suit gas, air, and CEMS applications.

Press Release Summary:

With ability to average up to 16 individual flow sensors at temperatures up to 450°C, MT Series come with accuracy of ±2% of reading, and repeatability of ±0.5%. They measure combustion air and flue gas flow, and monitor irregular velocity flow in ducts. ISO 14164:1999 (E) Annex B compliant rack mountable products feature averaging filters to dampen response to rapid process fluctuations, and RS232C serial ports to enable communication with in-the-field instruments.

Mass Flowmeters Meet the Challenges of Today's CEMS Stack Monitoring Requirements

24th March 2009

The MT Series of Multipoint Mass Flowmeters are designed for gas and air applications including CEMS (Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems), and so are ideally suited to meet the challenges of measuring and monitoring stack emissions. Available through flow and level specialists ALLISON ENGINEERING the MT flowmeters are ISO 14164:1999 (E) Annex B compliant and specifically designed for combustion air and flue gas flow measurement and monitoring in large ducts with irregular velocity flow profiles.

MT flowmeters provide exceptional accuracy of ± 2% of reading, with repeatability of ± 0.5%, thanks to their ability to average up to 16 individual flow sensors at temperatures up to 450°C and they include continuous auto test function with alarm diagnostics.

Other features include averaging filters which dampen response to rapid process fluctuations, RS232C serial ports to enable communication with in-the-field instruments and menu-driven control for ease-of-use. To ensure optimum application flexibility MT flowmeters are rack mountable with card slots for expansion and future option modules while it's modular design and interchangeable components enable simple maintenance. The flow element is made from stainless steel while the electronics enclosure is rated to NEMA/CSA Type 4.

MT multipoint flowmeters are ideal for measuring mass flow almost anywhere where variables conditions limit the effectiveness of single point flowmeters.

They can operate in harsh environments across industry such as; oil, gas and process installations and chemical plants or wherever temperature, vibration, abrasion and corrosion pose difficulties for other meters.
