Mass Flow Meter measures 13 different gases.

Press Release Summary:

C-LA10-B Series measures differential pressure, absolute pressure, and temperature within laminar flow region to determine mass flow. Measurement range is 0.5 ccm to 1,000 lpm FS. Display shows mass flow, volumetric flow, temperature, and absolute pressure simultaneously. Pushbutton lets user select primary display and gas of interest, adjust meter response time, or tare meter to zero flow. Meter has response time of 10 ms and accuracy of ±1% FS.

FloCat Introduces Non-Thermal Mass Gas Flow Meter Series C-LA10-B

Kenosha, Wi., March 1, 2002: FloCat introduces the C-LA10-B Series Non-Thermal, Mass Gas Flow Meter. To determine mass flow, the C-LA10-B Series use discrete differential pressure, absolute pressure, and temperature sensor measurements within the laminar flow region. Differential pressure measurement, across a laminar flow element, results in a flow meter inherently linear.

The C-LA10-B is available with a wide range of measurement, starting at 0.5 ccm full scale to 1000 lpm full scale. The dynamic display shows mass flow, volumetric flow, temperature, and absolute pressure simultaneously. With the push button interface, the user can select the primary display, gas of interest (13 standard gases featured), adjust meter response time or tare the meter to zero flow. The optional battery pack makes for a powerful test and calibration tool.

Additional Design Features:
* Response time of 10 milliseconds typical
* Turndown ratio of 100:1 typical
* Push button tare
* Low pressure drop of 10" water column or better
* Position insensitive
* Accuracy of ±1% full scale

Unique laminar flow elements along with modern electronics provide an instrument that is both affordable and accurate.
