Mass Decontamination Systems for Jordan


Immediate Response Technologies, Inc. through Federal Resources and at the request of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) sent five custom made mass decontamination systems to Jordan.  Each individual shelter system consisted of one, four line decontamination shelter, one Wx-10 Undress shelter and one Wx-10 redress shelter.  Additionally each system included Water Supply Bladders, Supply Pumps, Water Heaters, Plumbing (Hoses), Waste Pumps, Waste Water Storage Bladders, Water Containment Basin, Floor Risers, Lights, Power Generation (Diesel Generators), Power Distribution, Power Cables,  Air Heaters, Conveyors, Transfer Boards and Storage Cases.  This system is easily transportable by plane or vehicle. With trained personnel each individual system and can rapidly be deployed and once on sight, can be set up in less than 30 minutes. This state of the art system will provide Jordan a significant mass decontamination capability.



IRT was incorporated January 28, 1977 when it introduced its patented Radiant Heating Panels to the commercial marketplace. In 1980, IRT responded to a request from the Department of Defense (DoD) for technical assistance in the area of military thermal targets. The DoD was interested in the application of IRT's radiant heating panel technology to the development of thermal targets in support of M60A3 tank gunnery training and certification.
