Charlotte, NC June 13, 2002...Technifor, Inc. will exhibit its Stand-alone, Portable and Integrated marking units that feature Micro-Percussion indent and indelible marking technology to suit a wide range of industrial applications. The CN201 Stand-alone unit provides 3.94" x 3.94 marking area and utilizes user-friendly software with marking files that automatically calculate date and time, batch, serial number and shift codes. Also on display will be the CN312 ball screw driven column mounted unit performing data matrix codes, ideal for automotive and aerospace applications.
The M120 is a completely portable marking unit with integrated processor, built-in keyboard, LCD screen and battery pack for full mobility. The unit marks on metal, wood and plastics with a marking area of 2.36" x 1.57". The M120 is furnished with multi-purpose tooling to permit horizontal or vertical marking.
The CN110 Integrated is a self-contained marking unit for industrial automated applications that incorporates a marking head, control unit, and marking software that can be rapidly integrated into high volume or semi-automatic workstations.
Software capabilities include creation/modification or back-up of user marking programs, calculations of date and time, shift code, serial numbers, linear, angular, radial, inclined, inverted and mirrored marking as well as accommodating downloading tasks such as fonts and logos. User programming is made easy with several data entry options: external keyboard, PC with Windows® software, production line control via RS232 and RS485 connection, and hand held bar code reader. The CN110p performs at marking speeds up to 4 characters per second. It is furnished with T-slots for easy mounting and weighs 12 lb with overall dimensions of (l x h x w) 7.5" x 6.65" x 9.85" for economical space utilization.
