Portable Marking System Makes Polyolefin Heat Shrink Wire Markers



A fully portable system that lets users make industrial-grade UL-224, VW-1 compliant 3:1 heat shrinkable polyolefin wire and cable markers anywhere is being introduced by Nelco Products, Inc. of Pembroke, Massachusetts.

The Nelco MarkerMaker(TM) is a fully portable keyboard-operated device for making custom heat shrinkable polyolefin wire and cable markers that comply with UL-224 and VW-1 specifications. Featuring a built-in handle and a WYSIWYG display, it includes 262 international characters and symbols, six bar code formats, and a 3000 character memory for printing alpha-numeric messages and bar codes, and provides repeatable printing to save time.

Ideally suited for creating permanent wire and cable markers on site, the Nelco MarkerMaker(TM) operates on 6 AA batteries and features handy snap-in 3:1 heat shrink polyolefin shrink tube cartridges that come in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" sizes in black print-on-red, yellow, and white tubing. A plastic carrying case, two cartridges, and a 120 VAC adapter are included.
