Quick, Quiet, Continuous Computer-Controlled Marking
MECCO Marking & Traceability introduces the MC-2000 Scriber computer-controlled marking system that creates a continuous mark quickly and quietly. Included are all of the advantages of dot-peen marking that allow the unit to work as an independent standalone marking system, or easily integrate for in-line capabilities communicating with host computers.
Universally mounted MC2000 Scribers, weighing 42#, mount in any position to accommodate part definition and can be supplied with a micro-metric adjust bracket. Marking window is 80mm x 60 mm (3" x 2-1/4"). Bench units are equipped with a cast column and base.
Marking of alpha/numeric and logos can be done on most materials including metals, plastics and ceramics with continuous contact of the carbide stylus minimizing noise levels making it user-friendly in the manufacturing environment. Character sizes range from 1mm to 20mm characters with marking speeds of 1 to 3 seconds. Diamond-tipped stylus is optional.
Two controller options are available; each providing the ability to serialize, accepting information from standard keyboard input or bar code wand readers. Options to mark in angular or arc line with standard or inverted characters are available.
