By innovative driving (actuation) of the electromagnetic solenoid, IDI assures perfect marking quality despite variations in shape, surface condition or material of the part. It is compliant to DoD UID Dot Peen marking requirements as specified in Mil Std 130M.
The Multi 4 with IDI can be provided in four basic versions: a bench-top model; a portable or handheld model for marking large parts; a Combo model (shown above) which combines bench-top and portable capabilities; and an Integrator model for use in automated production lines.
