Technifor Introduces Rugged Integrated Marking Unit
Charlotte, NC January 23, 2002...Technifor announces a new integrated marking unit for heavy duty, high production industrial automated applications. Based on the experience gained from producing 8000 marking systems in use worldwide, the new CN211C integrated marking unit is designed for harsh environments, and is easy to integrate using Technifor's UCS 201 controller with screen and keyboard or UC 201 controller programmed with a PC for set up only. The unit features a quick mount and exchange marking head, and is ruggedly built to handle extensive indexing and three shift operation. The Micro-Percussion indent marking CN 211C provides up to 7 high resolution characters per second with a marking area of 1.8" x 1.8". It allows marking of various fonts, logos and date codes with powerful features that include compression, italics, spacing, and angular and radial marking. The compact unit is 16.5" x 11.4 x 3.9" (l x h x w) and weighs 14.3 lbs. with line connection by RS232 or 485.
The CN211C is furnished with Technifor T201W user-friendly software that allows quick and easy marking set-up, and is compatible with Windows® 3.1,95, 98 and NT. The versatile software permits adjustable marking parameters such as speed, size, marking depth, and selection of marking modes including single mark, batch or infinite. For quick set-up, operators can save marking files on PC or controller to make them quickly available for marking. Automatic update of marking files includes time and date, serial numbers, shift codes and customized variables.
