Market Leader Combilift Introduces Powerful New Range of Forklifts

New Forklifts Rival Industry Products to Bring Increased Customer Safety, Productivity and Improved Handling

Greensboro, NC - June 22, 2006 - Combilift, the world leader in customized handling solutions, today launched a new range of forklifts; the TeleCombi, the Semi-RoughTerrain C10,000L and the GT Hydrostatic Electric Sideloader which will supply the industry with a powerful new range of products for every work environment. These new products position Combilift as a major force in the forklift industry. Combilift also launched a new 100,000 sq ft manufacturing and dedicated research and development facility in Ireland. Combilift invests more than nine per cent of turnover in research and development

Founded in 1998, Combilift developed the world's first engine-powered multi-directional forklift. In just eight years, the company has grown to become the market leader in the long-load handling market, providing unique, innovative, space-saving forklifts for materials handling, eliminating the need for multiple machines when handling long, awkward loads. Combilift's cutting-edge range of products combined with a new world-class manufacturing facility strengthens the company's position as a market leader globally.

The TeleCombi, designed for extrusion companies, such as PVC and aluminum features a boom lift that enables users to load and offload the contents of a trailer from one side. A moving carriage allows the operator to retract a load at specific heights, eliminating the need for constant height adjustment, common on regular boom machines, which can be difficult in confined spaces. The TeleCombi saves customers time and space when loading and offloading.

The Semi-RoughTerrain C10,000L forklift is designed to handle long loads of lumber in narrow retail and wholesale lumber yards. With larger solid pneumatic tires, it is especially suited to unpaved yards and semi-rough terrain including snow conditions and offers added suspension for more comfortable material handling for the operator. An extra five inches in cab size allows for better operator ergonomics and comfort. This forklift is suited to outdoor and indoor environments.

The new GT Electric Sideloader is the first hydrostatic electric-powered sideloader in the market. It includes all the parts that Combilift's market-leading internal combustion GT Sideloader has with the added benefit of being electric. Its simple design means there are less breakable electrical parts and fewer complex electronics. This forklift, like other GT Combilifts, is available with optical guidance. Optical cameras mounted on the truck, monitor a tape bonded to the center of an aisle floor to enable automatic steering. With the GT Electric Sideloader, customers will have a less complex machine to service combined with the reliability of Combilift parts availability.

"These new forklifts mark a milestone in Combilift's growth," said Tommy Cadden, Combilift USA president. "Since it was founded, Combilift has been an innovative company developing customized handing solutions and these new models expand our expertise to new markets from manufacturing companies to the distribution industry. Our customers will benefit from having increased functionality and new features with recognized reliability and durability from a market leader."

"As a distributor, selling Combilift forklifts has been a great business decision for me," comments Bill Martin, owner and manager, Highlander Equipment. "I've seen my business revenue grow in every industry segment because of Combilifts ability to continually upgrade applications and develop solutions for every material handling problem. I personally worked with Combilift to develop the C10000L forklift and incorporate feedback from real customer challenges in the field. Combilifts' ability to continually customize products makes it stand out as an industry leader worldwide."

"The expanded product range and the world-class manufacturing facility reinforces Combilift's position as market leader," said Martin McVicar, managing director of Combilift. Our customers' needs drive our business and we're always first to market with innovative, dependable products."
