ATI Develops New Series of Manual Tool Changers



Unique Design Combines High Strength and Excellent Repeatability

ATI Industrial Automation has developed a new series of Manual Tool Changers that provides a cost-effective solution for quickly changing tools by hand. They feature a unique design that combines high strength, excellent repeatability and a patent-pending screw-cam locking mechanism with multiple fail-safe features, which resists vibration and prevents loosening. The new Manual Tool Changers also feature quick-action locking for one-handed manual operation. These robust and compact Manual Tool Changers can handle payloads up to 100 pounds (45 kg) and pass pneumatics and electrical signals.

ATI will introduce two new Manual Tool Changer models, the MC-16 and the MC-36, at the 2010 Automation Technology Expo (ATX) South on April 28-29, in Charlotte, NC, booth # 1729 and at the 2010 Design & Manufacturing New England show on April 21-22, in Boston, MA, booth # 1102.
