Alemite Introduces New Line of Multi-Purpose Manual Pumps

FORT MILL, S.C. - Alemite has introduced a new line of manual pumps. The pumps, which are simple to install, are designed to transfer a wide variety of fluids quickly and safely. Since the pumps don't require any air or electricity to operate, they can be used virtually anywhere and are very cost-effective.

"From liquids to lubricants, these new Alemite pump models provide a pump for nearly any fluid handling application," said Amy Ebelhack, product manager at Alemite. "The introduction of these pumps is another example of Alemite's commitment to innovation, quality, product range, performance, solutions and overall value to our customers."

The three main types of pumps in the new Alemite line are red, blue and green. The red pumps are designed for use with petroleum-based liquids, such as lubricants, oils and fuels. The blue pumps are designed for use with general-purpose fluids, including alcohols and acids. The green pumps are used for handling aggressive chemicals, such as solvents and pesticides.

In addition, for added convenience, Alemite offers a remote dispenser for each model, which allows the user to dispense fluids up to 10 feet from the pump. Depending on the type of operation, an air adapter allows for easy conversion of each pump from manual to pneumatic.

Each pump kit includes a standoff, three different seals and a down-tube that can be cut to length. This allows the pumps to be used with almost any container configuration and size from two-gallon jugs up to 55-gallon drums.
