Southland now offers a unique various length fork pallet handling solution, Manual Kooi Reach Forks.
Kooi has developed a viable option to the hydraulic reach forks that is cost effective and provides a safe and long term material handling solution without the need for added hydraulics.
Operators can easily lengthen or shorten the forks to the required length for a variety of pallet load lengths.
The Manual Kooi Reach Forks maintain a minimal fork profile while providing capacity needed. The most popular model is the Thin-Range 5,280 lb. Capacity, Class II forks which extend from 48”-80.3”. They are long enough to transport two 48” pallets at one time, (and they meet the OSHA 2/3 support rule). They are ideal for companies who have operator’s running back and forth with one pallet at a time as you can cut their handling cycles in half.
Manual Kooi Reach forks may be utilized on Fork Positioner, Sideshifters, or Sideshifting Fork Positioners as well as standard Class II and III ITA Carriages.
