Haewa Corporation of Norcross, GA is adding a new manual DIN rail cutter to its extensive offering of industrial tools. Type 2693 DIN rail cutters feature precision tool steel designed for cutting 15 x 5 x 1 mm and 35 x 7.5 x 1 mm steel rails leaving a square clean edge. The cutters' powerful lever action cuts precisely with minimal force, eliminating uneven cuts or burrs created by other cutting methods and ending time-consuming additional handwork to smooth rough edges.
Type 2693 DIN rail cutters are lightweight and portable and offer the ultimate in flexibility. They measure 26.6" in length, weigh only 8.4 lbs. and may be carried to any job site where they can be bolted to a bench, chucked in a vice or simply used without fastening them and they are independent of any power source. An adjustable depth stop permits exact rail length determination and adjusts continuously from .6" to 24". The DIN rail cutters' cutting surfaces and length stop have a natural metal finish while the cutters' handles are finished in a bright safety red, RAL 3000.
