Cybertrust Launches Managed SEM Offering
As First Global MSSP to Offer a Managed SEM Solution, Cybertrust Continues to Strengthen its Full-Spectrum MSS Portfolio
HERNDON, Va., April 19 / -- Cybertrust(R), the global information security specialist and leader in managed security services (MSS), today announced that Ubizen(R), a majority-owned subsidiary of Cybertrust, introduced its new managed security events management (SEM) offering. This offering expands Cybertrust's full-spectrum MSS portfolio for organizations that require real-time monitoring and management of their security devices and applications. The new managed SEM offering will allow customers that already invested in SEM technologies to work with the global MSS market leader to manage their SEM platform and monitor their security infrastructures on a 24 by 7 basis.
Organizations use SEM technologies for real-time awareness of external and internal threats, analysis and reporting of security data, and to monitor systems and report on security policy compliance. Through its new managed SEM offering, Cybertrust will supplement customers' SEM investments with people and processes to maximize the technology investment and further strengthen their security profiles. Specific services offered through the managed SEM offering include 24 by 7 monitoring of security events and incidents filtered out by the SEM tool; management and tuning of the SEM platform; the escalation of real threats along with recommendations for mitigation; and a combination of online and off-line reporting. The Managed SEM offering allows customers flexibility in selecting a SEM technology, with customers able to choose from Cybertrust partners including ArcSight, Cisco and e-Security.
