Magnetic Separators Line
Magnetic Specialties, Inc. announces their Magnetic Separators line. Now you can choose among self-cleaning and economy versions of overhead magnets to automatically remove larger quantities of ferrous metals from most conveyors, chutes and vibratory feeders. Self-cleaning models are available with electric or hydraulic power and with inline or cross belts (up to 72") and include gear drive motor. Other types are available, such as a tilting version which uses a winch to raise the magnet for easy cleaning.
All magnets are designed for high volume tramp iron removal and self-cleaning operation with less downtime. Another permanent magnetic solution from Magnetic Specialties, the only power required is to run the electric motor that turns the belt. Material is deposited to the side for easy removal. Concrete, wood chips, recycling facilities, and a wide range of end users can benefit from the superior quality of these cross belts. Very little maintenance costs involved versus comparable electro-magnets.
