A New Complete Solution for Safety Gate Monitoring: Safety Switch Now Suitable for Electromechanical Evaluation Devices
The non-contact, magnetic safety switch PSEN 1.1, used in conjunction with Pilz electromechanical evaluation devices, represents a new complete solution. Position and safety gate monitoring is now also possible in conjunction with proven safety relays from the PNOZ X and PNOZpower product ranges. With the PSEN 1.1, Pilz is launching a new series in the safety switch sector.
The new PSEN 1 series provides security against manipulation due to evasion protection in accordance with VDE 0660. The possibility of operating the switch unintentionally is also excluded. The switching distance is three millimetres. Thanks to its compact design, the PSEN 1.1 can be integrated perfectly into the existing working environment.
Additional benefits include the ability to withstand shock and vibration, long product service life as it is mechanically non-wearing, plus simple, quick wiring thanks to plug-in cable. As it is dust-tight and waterproof, conforming to protection type IP67, the PSEN 1.1 safety switch can be used in a variety of applications.
