Canfield Connector's Innovative, Magnetic Proximity Switch Designed for Groove Applications



Youngstown, Ohio (May 2007) - Canfield Connector's innovative 9M50 magnetic proximity switch is designed to fit the "D" shaped groove detail found in linear actuators. The switch is inserted anywhere along the actuator, rotated, and locked into place, lying flat against the cylinder housing. The fully encapsulated 9M50 is available in reed and electronic styles in either NPN or PNP. Reed versions are available in voltage ranges from 5 to 120 VAC/DC. Normally closed versions are also available. Its robust design meets IP67, NEMA 6 environmental specifications and it is corrosion and washdown resistant. Standard wire lengths are 3 meter wire leads, or optional 8 mm quick- connectors. Female connector mating cords are available.
