Magnetic Proximity Sensor is designed for tie rod cylinders.

Press Release Summary:

Designed to sense actuator position in strict, hazardous locations, Model 7HL features floating clamp design, which ensures proper assembly and sensor position on 2-8 in. bore, NFPA tie rod linear actuators. Unit is constructed with aircraft aluminum body, epoxy encapsulated shock-resistant PCB, and ½ in. conduit female thread with hard-usage multi-conductor cable. Sensor can switch current up to .5 A at 0-120 Vac/Vdc, 50/60 Hz.

Magnetic Proximity Sensor is Designed for Tie Rod Cylinders in Hazardous Locations

Youngstown, Ohio (November 2005) - Canfield Connector's tough new 7HL is a rugged magnetic proximity sensor designed to sense actuator position in strict, hazardous location applications. An extension of the company's highly successful Series 7000 sensor, the 7HL features the same "floating" clamp design ensuring proper assembly and sensor position on 2 to 8 inch bore NFPA tie rod linear actuators. The 7HL meets CSA hazardous location requirements for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D, as well as Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G, and Class III. Other features include a tough aircraft aluminum body, an epoxy encapsulated shock resistant PCB, and a ½" conduit female thread with hard-usage multi conductor cable. The 7HL can switch current up to .5 Amps at 0-120VAC/VDC 50/60Hz. All Canfield Connector products are manufactured in the USA to the highest quality standards.
