New Orleans, LA (Sept. 15, 2003) - Dortronics Systems, Inc. is displaying its new Mini-Mite Magnetic Locks here at ASIS 2003. The ultra compact units are ideal for low-level security applications such as half-sized doors, gates and fences and are weatherproof for installation in extreme environments. The MM-300 Series are also ideal for interior security applications such as drug lockers, file cabinets, ATM drawers, safety deposit boxes and server cages.

"We developed the Mini-Mite Series Electronics Locks after receiving multiple requests to custom fabricate units of the same size and type for specialized applications," said John FitzPatrick, Vice President, Dortronics Systems, Inc. "These small units provide significant holding force for a wide variety of specialized security applications."

The MM-300 Series Mini Mite Electronic Locks provide 300 pounds of holding force. The units can be controlled individually, sequentially or simultaneously from one of several locations. Their well confined magnetic field also makes them ideal for use in computer rooms and electronically sensitive areas. A built-in spike and surge suppressor system protects connected electronics from interference.

The MM-300 comes equipped with an angle bracket and is faced drilled for various field applications. The MM300N comes equipped with a slotted mounting plate and is available with an optional adjustable angle bracket. Both models are also available with Z-brackets for "in-swing" applications. The units are 24VDC and 12VDC (the MM-300 is field switchable, the MM300N must be ordered 12 or 24VDC).
