New Magnetic Flow Meter Introduced by Creative Engineers, Inc.
Creative Engineers, Inc. has introduced a new series of flow meters for the measurement of liquid metals. These meters function by measuring the electric current generated by flowing a conductive fluid through a magnetic field. The meter functions with any liquid metal up to a temperature of 800°C.
Major benefits of the flow meter design are that if can be welded into a pipe system for a completely sealless system, there are no moving parts, there are no flow constrictions, and there are no seals to fail. These features make it ideal for reactive materials like alkali metals and low melting materials like aluminum.
