New EAS Walker Magnetic Systems Specially Designed for High Temperature Operation
Magnetic clamping solutions for high temperature applications have been made possible with the introduction of a new line from EAS Mold & Die Change Systems. Designed specifically for high temperature applications the new EAS Walker magnetic clamp systems can accommodate operating temperatures to 464° F (240°C). Primary applications include rubber molding, ceramic molding, elastomer molding and compression molding.
Available as an option is the exclusive EAS Walker integrated mold heating system. With the heating system positioned between the magnets and the mold, the system provides fast, consistent heat transfer and reduced heat loss. The system can be designed to accommodate heating rods or heated fluid. The sensor signal for the systems can be integrated into the overall machine control for additional safety.
For vertical applications, safety bars or latches provide added safety. The lower platen can be equipped with removable hydraulic ball or roller lifter rails and pre-rollers, which speed and simplify tool loading and unloading.
The systems join the technologies of EAS and Walker Magnetics, the world's largest magnetics manufacturer. It represents an extension of their partnership earlier this year by the two companies.
