Magnetek to Exhibit High-Performance Elevator Controls at 2016 United Convention Exposition

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. – Magnetek, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of elevator drives, will be exhibiting their HPV® 900 AF Elevator Drive, their family of Quattro® Elevator Drives, the M1000 Elevator Drive, and the RegenAC™ Regenerative Braking Product at the 2016 United Convention and Exposition being held September 19-22, 2016, in Montreal. Magnetek’s full line of products provide unmatched ride smoothness, reduced installation time, and long-term energy regeneration. The company will also be demonstrating their new Customer Information Portal.

Visitors to Booth 903 will learn how Magnetek’s Quattro AC and DC regenerative drives save energy and money while improving reliability in both new installations and elevator modernization projects. Attendees can view Magnetek’s patented HPV 900 AF drive solution for modernizing an MRL system with an axial flux PM disc style machine. On display, the Quattro AC Cube is an integrated drive system that includes all the same components as the full-size Quattro in a compact package. Magnetek’s latest drive, the M1000, will be on display, and brings the industry’s most innovative and user-friendly interface along with Magnetek’s proven elevator-specific speed regulator, making this elevator drive ideal for modernizations and new construction projects. Finally, visitors will learn how Magnetek’s high-performance RegenAC unit offers the latest regenerative technology, along with higher current capacity for use with larger motors. RegenAC can be installed with a new drive such as the M1000, or added to existing AC drive installations for increased energy savings.

Magnetek will be previewing their new state-of-the-art Customer Information Portal. The portal provides easy-to-access, customized information such as drive specifications and the Company’s proprietary elevator Energy Savings Calculator. “With the assistance of our Energy Savings Calculator, customers will be able to estimate the savings they will realize through the use of Magnetek products,” said Ed Butte, Magnetek’s director of elevator and mining. “Visitors will have the opportunity to sign up for our Energy Savings Calculator at the show and learn about the energy savings that can be achieved by modernizing elevator systems.”
