AllKeys Macro Releases Version 2.401
Raleigh, NC based SeventhDigit Corporation released an updated version of AllKeys Macro. The update included major improvements in the reliability and ease of use of AllKeys Macro.
What is AllKeys Macro:
AllKeys Macro is a general purpose macro program that allows you to automate repetitive tasks and play them back with simple shortcut keys. For example, you can create a macro to type out your address, check your webmail, or format an excel spread sheet. AllKeys Macro's easy to use folder format allows the user to easily record, edit, and organize a large number of macros. The user can specify whether macros are global or application specific, adjust speed of playback, import/export macros, define separate user groups, etc. AllKeys Macro allows control over all keyboard functions making it unique among macro software programs. This gives the user the ability to not only make macros, but also remap keys, and even use the keyboard as a "mouse" to move the cursor. The package also includes tools to improve the user's efficiency on the computer including: a program launcher, a break timer, and key remapping functions.
New Update
The new update has more reliable overall playback features. It also offers more control over macro playback based on whether macros should be played relative to a window or exactly as recorded. For easier to remember macro shortcut keys, it now allows text only short-cut keys, such as, "myAddress," to type out an address. For advanced users, the new version allows the creation of customized macro instructions.
Many new macro instructions were added including:
1.) Mouse Move with Image - Searches a window for a particular image and moves the mouse cursor to the image.
2.) Find Window - Finds a window and brings it to the forefront.
3.) Resize Window - resizes the window
4.) Change Capitalization - Changes capitalization of text in clipboard.
5.) Insert Time Stamp - Inserts date and or time into any application that allows typing.
AllKeys Macro is a $30 shareware program with a 30 day free trial. It is available at www.AllKeysMacro.com and most major shareware sites. AllKeys Macro Version 2.401 is a free upgrade for users with version 2.0 or higher.
