This new kit is versatile, easy-to-use, and affordable for small and large companies alike. The Microgage 2000 is ideal for checking stage and slide travel to measure straightness and run out. Checking the perpendicularity of cutting tools and the squareness of machine assemblies is easy and quick with this new system. The enclosed photograph shows the Microgage in use, checking the vertical axis of a CNC milling machine for run out.
The Microgage 2000 alignment kit consists of a laser transmitter that projects a working beam up to 80 feet away. A receiver and digital display catch the laser beam and provide a precise readout for each alignment task.
