Inspection & Packing of Molded Parts

Cincinnati Automation releases an automated inspection and packing system designed to be integrated with customer's existing injection molding machines. The system can be programmed to audit one or more shots of multiple cavity molds for every full box processed. Two or more high resolution Cognex or Keyence vision cameras are programmed to gage features such as length, width, ID, OD and to check for flash, short shots and contamination. An uphill transfer conveyor with optional part cooling system is used to move parts to the inspection area or divert them to the box loading area. An optional precision weigh scale is used to verify correct part counts per shot. The PLC/HMI includes operator settings for full box counts and weight. The material handling control system automatically advances full boxes away and new empty boxes in to the filling area.

Cincinnati Automation provides machine vision, laser gaging and robotic systems integration services along with specialty inspection, packing, test and automation machines for several industries.
